Partner Manager, Marketing 

The Clover Partnerships team is focused on finding, growing and engaging partners in pursuit of creating an all-in-one platform for our merchants.

To drive growth in 2022 and beyond, we’re looking for a Partner Manager, Marketing to join our Partnerships team. In this role you will have the opportunity to design, build, and execute large-scale partner marketing campaigns as we scale our partner ecosystems. The Partner Growth team at Clover is responsible for developing, validating and delivering solutions-based recommendations that drive impact at scale for our partners who depend on our platform and merchant base to build an engaged audience and monetize their apps.

This individual will leverage internal and external tools to launch, optimize, iterate and scale campaigns that help our partners meet their desired outcomes. You would also work closely with cross-functional teams, including partner success, business development, creative, finance, legal, and operations across B2C and B2B business units.

To be successful in this role, you must have a willingness to learn, iterate quickly, be creative, and be hands on. Ideal candidates love breaking down problems, building solutions, delivering actionable and data-driven insights and working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. You must love working and developing great relationships internally with cross-functional partners, and be extremely responsive. You need to have a keen interest in digging into the data to find answers and look for ways to improve our partnership campaigns.

Partner Manager, Marketing - Responsibilities:

  • The Partner Growth team is responsible for developing, validating and delivering solution based recommendations that help partners achieve their objectives.

  • Lead operations activities for new partner integrations in the areas of launch readiness, reporting/analytics, production support, and customer care.

  • Develop joint growth strategies and launch go-to-market plans for with partners that will benefit both sides

  • Build, manage, and optimize multiple online and offline channels (email, on-platform notifications, etc.).

  • Execute key assets for partner education, sales enablement and campaign fulfillment, including collateral, playbooks, newsletters, presentations, case studies, webinars, and more. Understand performance and optimize programs accordingly.

  • Work cross-functionally with business development, data reporting, product, marketing and international stakeholders to execute campaigns

  • Produce insights that drive more effective campaigns through data analytics, design, and implement test plans (A/B and multivariate) to understand incremental campaign impact.

  • Work closely with creative teams and partners to develop marketing collateral

  • Partner with Analytics to report results in order to educate management and cross-functional teams on program performance Identify opportunities for technological and process improvement.

  • Influence decisions and organizational change through collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach.

We are looking for a high level of integrity, attention to detail, passion in providing this vital service to the platform and sense of urgency to “make things happen” with a “can-do” attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, marketing analytics, influencer marketing, or equivalent.

  • Experience in managing multiple partners of varied sizes to build marketing programs appropriate for their goals

  • Ability to work autonomously, manage cross-functional projects, extremely methodical and organized, with great attention to details

  • Experience working directly with analytics teams and evaluating campaign performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.

  • Strong project management skills with experience gaining consensus and driving deliverables with individuals inside and outside the organization

  • Analytical tendencies with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible

  • Understanding of accounting / finance and knowledge around contracts and legal agreements

Travel Requirement: ~20%
