Android Engineer, Senior

About the Team
BentoBox and Clover. Now working together to help restaurants do more. The Point of Sale team enables Clover to integrate directly with BentoBox’s platform to deliver powerful restaurant commerce tools. This enables restaurants to manage their business with confidence and ease through an expanding suite of connected payment, ordering, inventory, reporting tools and more.
What you will do:
Develop native mobile applications for Android
Engage with Product Manager and UX designers to define and refine the requirements/UX design.
Partner with QA to develop the right test plans for new features
Participate in design and code reviews
Harden our existing applications by fixing bugs identified internally and via our field support team
Participate in an on-call rotation to handle any customer escalations
Develop tests and automation to advance maturity in product testing
Work in an agile environment, participating in planning and Scrumban boards.
What you will need to have:
·Degree in Computer Science, or related STEM field
· 5+ years of Android development experience in a professional capacity
· Implementing both Android software design patterns and application architecture
· Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin
· Strong knowledge of database concepts and SQL
What would be great to have:
· Server-side development, building REST endpoints
· Web app development using the React framework
· End to end debug tools like Wavefront and Kibana.

Salary Range
$115,200.00 - $192,000.00
