Position Description Overview

The successful candidate will work within an internal telephone based team responsible for new business sales, dedicated to revenue generation and protection.


Job Responsibilities

  • Inbound and Outbound telephone business to business sales
  • Deliver against revenue targets
  • Maintain high levels of productivity – 150 calls + per day
  • Identify and exploit additional cross sale opportunities and promote ‘value add’ solution range (Clover, Payment Gateway, DCC)
  • Overcome objections and negotiate terms through effective questioning techniques
  • Generate referrals
  • High levels of customer record management and accurate completion of applications
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to satisfy client requirements
  • Suggest new and alternative ways to achieve goals whilst sharing best practice
  • Support business lead initiatives, scheme rules and industry compliance matters
  • Professional representation of the company and brand at all times

Candidate Requirements

  • Target Driven and accustomed to working with KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to develop internal and external relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to use own initiative on an individual basis and as part of a team
  • Background in a Sales environment would be advantageous
  • Background in Acquiring and/or Financial Services would be advantageous
