Sr. Cloud Engineer

What You Will Do:

• Lead the development and maintenance of cutting-edge web applications, APIs, and cloud services.
• Install, configure, and support technical issues across desktop and mobile platforms in both hosted and on-premise environments.
• Collaborate with Product Development, UX Designers, and QA to ensure excellence in product delivery.
• Provide mentorship and review work, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Develop robust back-end APIs using Node.js on AWS Lambda and Kubernetes Express-based services.
• Engage in agile practices, contribute to planning, and participate in Scrumban boards.

What You Will Need To Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software development with a strong focus on backend JavaScript.
• Proficient in microservice-based web services, e-commerce platforms, and high-volume transactional systems.
• Comprehensive experience with relational database design & modeling.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services or other cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of software development patterns and advanced coding techniques.

What Would Be Great To Have:

• Advanced skills in NodeJS and serverless architectures.
• Proficiency in REST API design and development.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and core JavaScript concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCi, or Jenkins.
• Containerization expertise, particularly with Docker.
